An extra special day at Das Weinhaus – with the help of my Aunt Jane, we planned an 80th birthday surprise party for my Mom with our gig as cover. Friends and family from all around the country came to town and we managed to keep the secret. She was none the wiser until she started to recognize faces and realized that the party was for her!
We had goodies to share with friends who came to listen to our music and everyone had a great time enjoying good food, good conversation and good music. Our daughters even came up to share in the musical adventures with an impromptu backup on a few songs and a couple that our youngest sang lead on. What a fun day!
