It was a beautiful night and an excellent crowd, as always at the Porch Rocker. We had a blast playing and our hosts were so incredibly gracious. Our new songs felt especially appropriate given the holiday weekend and the lakefront setting; Water by Brad Paisley, Summer Breeze by Seals & Crofts, and Independence Day by Martina McBride.
I love this photo with the audience in the background – everyone comes down on their golf carts or sit in comfy camp chairs to enjoy the music.
Beyond the great folks, what a view!!
And towards the end of the night, as the sun goes down, the view of our porch perch all lit up with red white and blue – so appropriate for the 4th of July weekend!
And last, but certainly not least, this great little video caught by Lauri:
